Quality and waste improvements

Greater use of offsite fabrication is a core feature of industrialisation. Manufacturing-led approaches shift quality control upstream, reducing site-based issues and focusing on systemic improvements.

Waste reduction is also achieved through improved waste mitigation and increased design maturity from lessons learned on previous (repeated) projects from the programme. The majority of the supply chain have worked with the repeat design so are able to focus on reducing waste at all stages.

So what?

Repeated design, repeated integrated supply chain and repeated processes mean that the project team can continuously improve in terms of quality and waste reduction.
The kit-of-parts is based on proven, repeatable components giving confidence in terms of compliance and longevity.
